Hi, I'm Flavia — a Brazilian chef, creative soul and the person behind Amorè.

Growing up in a family hospitality business, I learned from an early age that creating memorable experiences is about so much more than food. My mother taught me the love and care that goes into cooking for others, while my father showed me how genuine hospitality can make people feel truly welcomed. Watching them inspired my passion for serving people, bringing people together, and paying attention to the details that make a moment special.

After graduating in Culinary Arts in Brazil, I spent over 10 years working in hospitality across Brazil and Australia, including venues such as Palazzo Versace, Attica and Gwinganna. Throughout my career, I realised that what I loved most wasn't simply preparing food — it was creating memories.

Creativity has always been part of who I am. From painting classes as a child to learning pottery from my father and teaching workshops as a teenager, I've always been drawn to creating experiences that connect people and encourage them to slow down, celebrate and be present.

When the opportunity arose to take over Amorè Picnics & Co., I knew it was the perfect way to combine my love for hospitality, food and creativity. Today, alongside our DIY and Pop-Up Picnic experiences, we offer chef-crafted catering and creative activities designed to turn celebrations into lasting memories.

Based on the beautiful Gold Coast, we create experiences for everything from romantic picnics and birthdays to baby showers, hens parties, family gatherings and proposals, welcoming groups from 2 to 60 guests.

While we focus on creating beautiful and meaningful experiences, we also take care of the details behind the scenes. Amorè Picnics & Co. is a Gold Coast Council-approved food business and operates with the appropriate insurance for public picnic events, giving you peace of mind while you enjoy the moment.
